• If you purchase a trim from us and then change your mind for whatever reason, we will accept the return but please be aware that we do not refund your ship charges either way. YOU MUST CONTACT US TO OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) NUMBER PRIOR TO SHIPPING ANYTHING BACK TO US. Items returned without an RA number are subject to a 25% restocking fee. For items that are returned damaged, not in original condition, or wrinkled we will refund only 50% of the item's price.
Trims can be returned for a full refund less shipping charges within 60 days of receipt of order. Returns received after 60 days from the date of purchase will be refunded as a store credit only. We reserve the right in situations where we do agree to refund return shipping costs to refund those charges as a store credit.
• No returns accepted on sale items discounted 50% or more.
• No returns accepted on trims purchased from the "Trims By the Yard" section of our website, i.e. special cut trims.
• Returned trims must be in new, original, uncut condition and kept in a smoke free environment.
• A refund will be issued after the trim is received and inspected. Refunds may take up to 7 days to process. Please note that the refund processing fee charged by your credit card company will be deducted from your total refund, unless the return is the result of a manufacturing problem.
• Special Order Trims- There is a restocking fee of 25% on all returned special order trims. You must contact us prior to returning a special order item.
Be aware that the color of any trim or product on this website compared to the actual product may vary due to differences in computer monitor calibrations and software, and as a result of differences in manufacturer's dye lots. Consequently, we cannot be responsible for colors not matching your intended use. Additionally, all trim dimensions are approximate as noted by the manufacturer. If you must have a particular color, length or width, email us for help. Trims are shipped in one continuous length except when there is an unavoidable manufacturer's join. In these instances we compensate by including an appropriate amount of extra trim. Please note that we cannot custom cut your yardage into multiple pieces for you due to time constraints.
If a ribbon, trim or other product is defective, please email us at Dove Originals Trims with details within 5 days of receipt of the product. We will provide instructions for returning the item. When the item is returned and checked, we will provide either a replacement or a refund as appropriate.
We are always happy to work with you to locate a particular trim or to match a color if possible. If you need an exact color match to a trim you already have or are looking to match a trim to a particular fabric, you can send us a sample and we will assist as much as we can. For your convenience, Dove Originals Trims accepts all major credit cards (VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover Card) and Paypal. We also accept USPS money orders and personal checks, but please be aware that purchases paid by personal check or e-check will be held until the check clears (4-5 days).
International buyers are responsible for all custom duties, VAT, excise taxes, and other fees within their home country. We complete all USPS and customs forms accurately and completely. We do not mark merchandise as a gift. The value of your item(s) is the price that you paid, excluding shipping costs. If you are unsure regarding the amount of duties and taxes that may be due, please check with your home country prior to purchasing. Note that we do not ship to all countries; please check with us prior to purchase if you are located in South America, Africa, or Asia. We do not accept international checks. We ship USPS and neither our system nor the USPS can validate international addresses. Please make sure your address is complete and correct before confirming your order. If you provide us with an incorrect address and your order is returned to us, we will need to charge you for reshipping due to the costs involved.
